What is Renavon?

Renavon is a data platform specializing in structured Hong Kong datasets. We cover HKJC horse racing (results, odds, sectional times, horse profiles), Hong Kong Companies Registry (company filings, business registrations), HKEX (directors, insider disclosures), SFC (licensed institutions), and public interest data (ICAC). All datasets are cleaned, deduplicated, and delivered in query-ready formats.

What types of datasets are available?

We have 25+ datasets across five categories:

• HKJC Racing — race results, horse profiles, dividends, odds snapshots, sectional times, jockey and trainer rankings, track conditions, pool investments, Mark Six results
• Companies Registry — company profiles, name histories, business registrations, CRN/BRN cross-references, filing documents

Where does the name Renavon come from?

Renavon was conceived as a fusion of wisdom and innovation. By blending the Hebrew word "\u05e0\u05d1\u05d5\u05df" (wisdom, pronounced "navon") with the spirit of innovation and reason, Renavon stands for a platform where data is not just collected, but understood, enhanced, and unlocked to enable new possibilities through perceptive understanding and purposeful transformation.

How often is the data updated?

Update frequency depends on the data source:

• Racing data — after every HKJC race meeting (typically twice per week during the season, September to July)
• Corporate & financial data — daily (Companies Registry, HKEX, SFC)
• Public interest data — daily (ICAC)

Each dataset page shows the exact date of the last update and the full data coverage range.

What formats are supported?

Multiple access methods to fit your workflow:

• SQL — direct queries via MotherDuck (DuckDB-compatible)
• REST API — JSON responses with your API key
• Downloads — CSV, Excel, JSONL
• AI agents — connect Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client directly to your data

Can I preview data before subscribing?

Yes. Every dataset has a 20-row sample preview visible to all users. You can see the exact columns, data types, and values before subscribing. Some datasets (ICAC, HK Streets) are entirely free for registered users.

How do subscriptions work?

Subscriptions give you full access to all datasets within a package. When you subscribe, you get an API key for programmatic access and a MotherDuck session token for direct SQL queries. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, with a discount for annual plans. You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a satisfaction guarantee:

• Monthly subscriptions: full refund within 14 days of subscription or renewal
• Annual subscriptions: full refund within 30 days of subscription or renewal
